Day Calendar

The purpose of the group is to encourage local writers to create works of fiction  - novels, novellas. short stories, flash fiction, etc. Writers submit manuscripts to be critiqued by other group members.

Open stitching time in our meeting room! Feel free to use our sewing machines, rulers, cutting tools, yarn, and more to create your own work of art.

Join our Chess Club!  Learn to play chess, a game that is played all over the world. Learn the basic moves and strategies. No knowledge of chess is needed.  Beginners and seasoned pros are welcome.  We meet one Saturday each month.

Join us at Westwego for an afternoon of art making. Guests can choose what kind of art project they'd like to work on. All supplies will be provided.
