Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Join us for Bridge Club in the Old Metairie Meeting Room!  Beginners welcome!

This will be a beginner level computer class for adults. Do you wish you understood basic computer skills, or always wanted to learn the basics of how to use a personal computer? This class is for you!

Your local librarians are working on their fitness. Come join! We will be working out together using our collection of Zumba, Pilates, and Dance Cardio DVDs. All ages welcome!

John Scurich, a local political consultant, will give a talk on the Marquis de Lafayette at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.
