Day Calendar

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Memory Cafés are social gatherings for people living with changes in their memory or thinking, and the people who care about them.

The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers.

Stories and activities for children ages infant to 7 years old.

Children will learn their colors as they follow a cute little creature on his adventure through haunted halls, moonlit forests . . . perhaps even a Halloween party!

West Bank Regional Library's Storytime takes place every Tuesday at 11am, with a themed craft to follow. Recommended for children ages 3-5. Each week features a themed selection of books, songs, fingerplays, and more!

We'll read Creepy Crayon! by Aaron Reynolds, followed by a crayon STEM challenge. 

This Basic's Training is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. Learners will practice how to use a mouse, locating and opening a program, as well as log off and shut off a computer properly.

Take some time to hang out with your friends, have a snack, play some games and chill with your friends at Rosedale Library in the meeting room from 3:30pm-5:30pm on most Tuesdays.

Join us every Tuesday @ 4 PM for instruction in the Fabric Arts. Our club's main focus will include: Crochet, Sewing, Knitting, Quilting, and Cross Stitch.

Arts & Crafts

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in an hour and a half. Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an English as a Second Language class.

This event is for Cricut owners who would like a space to work on their projects alongside other Cricut enthusiasts. Cricut-eers can socialize, learn from one another, and improve their skills together in Westwego's meeting room.

Take part in a table read and share your script ideas! Actors, readers, and writers are invited to submit materials. This event is open to the public and performers, with additional written works welcome. For ages 18+
