The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present. 

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers a general literacy from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, except on holidays.

This six week class will cover the basics of memoir writing, focusing on participants’ lived experiences.

Come out and learn about health and nutrition topics.  The LSU AGCenter will provide a talk about fruits, vegetables and dairy and the role they play in our nutrition.

This event is for players, experienced and new, to join adventures across different continents, fighting different villains, saving town’s people and slaying some dragons!

Join us for a Jane Austen-inspired calligraphy workshop. Local calligrapher Debra Fleming will provide hands-on instruction in the basics of calligraphy. Registration is required. Supplies will be provided.

Come play Dominos at River Ridge Library, third Wednesday of the month. Adults only. 

Join a group of up to six players for a Lancer campaign led by Game Master Patrick Hitchcock.  The campaign will meet one Wednesday evening a month.  There is no cost, and all materials will be provided.
