Thomas Parrie, instructor in the Department of English and World languages at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, will speak at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, March, 21, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

Introduction to sitting and walking Zen meditation. Please bring a cushion to sit on.

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in one hour and a half. Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

Love to play Mahjong but don't have a Mahjong set?  Grab a few friends and drop by the library and play awhile. We have Mahjong sets available for use in the library.

Free tax help at the West Bank Regional Library.  The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program in partnership with Community Housing Education Center offers free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals.
