An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Maurice Hebert, a lawyer with offices in River Ridge, will meet with patrons from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Temia Griffin, a lawyer with offices in Gretna, will meet with patrons from 1 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Gretna Library, 102 Willow Drive, Gretna.

Mah-jong players of every skill level are invited to join and play. The American version is used.

Email or drop off your favorite recipe to the library. Prepare your selected recipe. Share your dish with your library friends on October 22nd, and we'll provide everyone's recipes during the event.

The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.

Join us as we celebrate Taylor Swift’s arrival in New Orleans for her Era Tour concert. Gather your friends and play Jeopardy on one of the top pop stars. Arrive early if you would like to be a contestant. Refreshments will be provided. 

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in 50 minutes. Step by step instructions will be given. Limited art supplies are provided (while supplies last) or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.
