Bring cuttings or full plants (1 or a few) and swap with other home gardeners. Indoor and outdoor plants are welcome!      

Bring a project you're working on, sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, or any type of creative needlework, and socialize with others with similar interests.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person beginner English as a Second Language classes. Class is from 6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Classes are for adults and focus on beginner English vocabulary and grammar.

Bruce Spizer, a local attorney and an internationally recognized expert on The Beatles, will discuss his latest book, The Beatles A Hard Day's Night & More, at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W.
