The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers.

This week we'll read Acorn Was a Little Wild, and learn about what acorns are and why they are an important part of their ecosystem. Plus an art activity!

Ukulele students past and present are invited to join us in learning a handful of new holiday songs, in preparation for our "Holiday Hoedown," sing along concert on December 18th.

Sal Perricone, a former federal prosecutor for New Orleans, will discuss his newest novel, Cobblestones: A New Orleans Tragedy, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

This month's book will be Orlando by Virginia Woolf.
