Come and join us Thursday mornings at 10:00am for Pre-School Storytime in the Meeting Room. Have fun in an interactive learning environment practicing early literacy skills. Designed for children 18 months to 7 years old.
Book:
The Read and Sing Storytime includes stories, songs, and finger plays for children ages one to three years old.
Playtime at the library! Informal play and social time for children 0-5 years. Toys will be provided.
Ahoy Matey! Ranger Mary will be reading Pirate Bob by Kathryn Lasky and making paper bag parrots immediately following.
Low impact walking session. The session will begin with a tai chi warm-up in the meeting room. Please check with your physician before beginning movement activities.
Ages: Adults; children with supervision
A new class every week as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?
Instruction and support for adults to improve their skills in: 1) literacy or reading at any level; 2) basic math and writing; 3) preparation for HiSet /GED; 4) job readiness. Free of charge and open to the public.
This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Come try your skill, invent, and experiment in our Lego Club targeted for ages 4 to 10. LEGOs will be provided for you so you don’t need to bring LEGOs from home. Lego Club is first come, first serve; while supplies last.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person beginner English as a Second Language classes. Class is from 6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Classes are for adults and focus on beginner English vocabulary and grammar.
Neighborhood society devoted to the care and propagation of all forms of bromeliads.
The World War II Discussion Group, headed by local teacher and historian Brian Altobello, meets the first Thursday of every month to discuss the events of the 1930s and 1940s. Free and open to the public; registration is not required.
