Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Want a chance to connect with teens in your community? Come join us for our Teen Advisory Board during our Teen Time Thursdays! We ask your feedback on our teen services and you earn community service hours.

Bring a project you're working on, sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, or any type of creative needlework, and socialize with others with similar interests.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person beginner English as a Second Language classes.  Class is from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursdays.  Classes are for adults and focus on beginner English vocabulary and grammar.

The Crescent City Big Band performs music from the Golden Era of the 1940s to contemporary tunes. Free of charge and open to the public.
