Each week a different craft activity is available for kids (ages 6 -11) in the foyer area of Harahan Library while supplies last.

Local representatives from the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) help individuals with their taxes. Free of charge and open to the public. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Northstar Digital Learning is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. Learners will open and close a workbook. Identify parts of Excel Screen: ribbon, formula bar, active cell, name box.
Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.
Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.
