Come garden alongside the Golden Gardeners as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels.

Free Nutrition Class with the LSU Agricultural Center
This four-week course is taught by the LSU Agricultural Center, providing a free food and nutrition education program.
Week 1: Fruits, Vegetables, And Choosing your Dairy.
Week 2: Whole Grains and Varying Your Protein Sources
This is a story time for children who are aged 5-7 years old. 1st and 2nd grade level children will visit us from Grand Isle School and the public who have children in this age group are invited to participate.
