The Lafitte Library will be closed on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, for the Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival.
The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers.

This week's book is Gilbert the Great by Jane Clarke. Gilbert, a shark, is great friends with a small fish.

The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.
