The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will conduct a boating safety class beginning at 9:15 a.m., Saturday, Ag. 9, at the Jane O'Brien Chatelain West Bank Regional Library, 2751 Manhattan Blvd., Harvey.
Held the second Saturday of each month, the Saturday Morning Writer's Clinic consists of two sessions - one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 11 a.m. - which feature an author who speaks on some aspect of writing - plot, dialog, chracterization, etc.
