The Jefferson Parish Library is participating in the 2025 annual Lawyers in Libraries program in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association.

The purpose of the group is to encourage local writers to create works of fiction - novels, novellas, short stories, flash fiction, etc. Writers submit manuscripts to be critiqued by other group members.

Come try your skill, invent, and experiment in our Lego Club targeted for ages 5 to 10! Legos provided for you so you do not need to bring Legos from home. Younger siblings are welcome. Larger Legos provided for younger siblings.

Join our Chess Club!  Learn to play chess, a game that is played all over the world. Learn the basic moves and strategies. No knowledge of chess is needed.  Beginners and seasoned pros are welcome.  We meet one Saturday each month.

Join a group of six for a new campaign led by an experienced Dungeon Master. This campaign will meet every other Saturday. There is no cost, and all materials will be provided. Adults only for now, but look for future campaigns for teens!
