Join us for Pre-School StoryTime for books, crafts, songs and learning activities. 

Book: It Looked Like Spilt Milk by Charles G Shaw

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can. 

Playtime at the library! Informal play and social time for children 0-5 years. Toys will be provided.

This Intro to Ballet class is for our youngest learners, ideally 3-5. Must be accompanied by a parent. Ballet slippers will be provided. Just wear comfy clothes and socks and get ready to twirl!

This event includes stories and crafts for school aged children (ages 6 to 11 years old.)

Join us for evening storytime, followed by a craft! Targeted for ages 3-7. 

This event includes stories for children ages 0 to 5 years old. This event is held in the Children's area of Rosedale Library on Fridays at 10:30am.

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

This is a story time for children who are aged 5-7 years old. 1st and 2nd grade level children will visit us from Grand Isle School and the public who have children in this age group are invited to participate.

Join us for arts and crafts at the library! First come, first served. 

Come and have fun! Learn to play chess, a game that is played all over the world and that dates back more than a thousand years to Ancient India.  Learn the basic moves and strategies! No knowledge of chess is needed.

Listen to a story read by one of our librarians and stay to do a fun craft together! This event is for children ages 3 to 10 years old. 

Presented by the Visiting Pet Program, beginner or reluctant readers read aloud to animal assisted therapy dogs.

Join us for Family Board Games at the library! Ages 5+; Parental supervision required. Please call the Children’s Desk at (504) 364-3664 ahead for the latest information. Bringing a large group (10 or more children and adults)?

Join us for Songs, play, dance and stories for the littlest ones (0-2years). Every Monday 10:30am-11:30am

Welcome back to our Community Homeschool Hour! No reservation required. Classes are geared toward ages 6 and up but our younger friends are welcome to join as well. Class is open until materials run out. 

The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers.

Stories and activities for children ages infant to 5 years old. 

Today's story is Waiting for Wings by Lois Ehlert. Popsicle stick butterfly craft to follow.

West Bank Regional Library's Storytime takes place every Tuesday at 11am, with a themed craft to follow. Recommended for children ages 3-5. Each week features a themed selection of books, songs, fingerplays, and more!
