Calling all teens! Old Metairie Library is offering a welcoming, low-pressure environment for socializing and creativity in the meeting room every Thursday this summer starting June 11th and continuing through July 23rd.

Join us for Lego Club at Rosedale library! Take the challenge and make a cool creation to be displayed in the library until the next Lego Club. 

"Let the Good Times Roll" at the library! Paintedwitlove's Brittani Landry is a Jazz & Heritage Community Partnership Grant recipient, and she’s agreed to give art classes for kids for Jefferson Parish Library! Ages 9 to 12.

Love to play Mahjong but don't have a Mahjong set?  Grab a few friends and drop by the library and play awhile. We have Mahjong sets available for use in the library.

Start your week on a high note! Grab the mic and belt out your favorite songs or test your music knowledge with interactive games like music bingo and trivia. No pressure—just good vibes, great music, and a whole lot of fun.

Take some time to hang out with your friends, have a snack, play some games and chill with your friends at Rosedale Library in the meeting room from 3:30pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays.

Come learn how to line dance! Whether you're a beginner or you've been dancing for awhile, our line dancing classes are for everyone. Wear anything that is comfortable to dance in!

Join a group of up to six players for a Lancer campaign led by Game Master Patrick Hitchcock.  The campaign will meet one Wednesday evening a month.  There is no cost, and all materials will be provided.

Join us for a special Summer Reading Challenge event: Wagner's Dinosaur Day! Choose from a variety of prehistoric crafts, browse our dino-themed reads, and become a junior archeologist in a Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt around the library.

What would your story reveal? In Remix Reality: Tomb of Hidden Selves, teens will remix magazine images and words into bold, symbolic collages that reflect who they are—seen and unseen.

Looking for a fun, chill spot to hang out? Join us at the library for our Teen Café! Watch your favorite anime, play video and board games, get creative with crafts, and vibe with friends or meet new ones.

Join us for Video Game Club! Come hang out and make new friends while playing video games on our Nintendo Switch.

Come join us at the Jefferson Parish Library - Lakeshore Library for two hours full of gaming fun! Whether you're a hardcore gamer or just looking to have a good time, this event is perfect for you.

Get ready to stomp, search, and dig into adventure! Young explorers are invited to a dinosaur-themed party where they’ll uncover fossils, excavate hidden treasures, and discover the prehistoric world through hands-on fun.

If you are interested in learning the game of Mahjong, but are intimidated by the fast pace of traditional Mahjong clubs, then come join us for a relaxed learning experience.
