Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet in a relaxed but informative environment. We are here to take ballet seriously but not always take ourselves seriously. Get a workout in and learn something new in a comfortable, friendly environment.

Looking for a fun, chill spot to hang out? Join us at the library for our Teen Café! Watch your favorite anime, play video and board games, get creative with crafts, and vibe with friends or meet new ones.

Come build with us at West Bank Regional Library during our monthly Lego Club meeting! Lego Club gathers every first Thursday of the month at 5:15pm. Ages 4+; Parental supervision required at all times.

Come try your skill, invent, and experiment in our Lego Club targeted for ages 4 to 10. LEGOs will be provided for you so you don’t need to bring LEGOs from home. Lego Club is first come, first serve; while supplies last.

Want to create simple, polished videos but not sure where to start? Join us for Basic Video Editing with Microsoft Clipchamp!

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

Love to play Mahjong but don't have a Mahjong set?  Grab a few friends and drop by the library and play awhile. We have Mahjong sets available for use in the library.

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Take the challenge and make a cool creation to be displayed in the library until the next meeting! Lego Club meets every other Saturday. This event is for children ages 4 years old and up. 

Stop by the library for a game of Spider Man: Miles Morales on PS5! Controllers are first-come, first-served, and shared. 

LEGO free play for children ages six and up. LEGOs and blocks will be provided. This event is for children ages 6 to 13 years old.

Come explore your creative side with various art activities.  All supplies will be provided. 

Craft projects for kids 3+ while supplies last! Visit the Children's Department. Bringing a large group (10 or more children and adults)? Please call (504) 364-3664 to speak with a librarian regarding reservation spots and attendance limits.

Presented by the Visiting Pet Program, beginner or reluctant readers read aloud to animal assisted therapy dogs. Please do not bring your personal pet! Parental supervision required.

Welcome back to our Community Homeschool Hour! No reservation required. Classes are geared toward ages 6 and up but our younger friends are welcome to join as well. Class is open until materials run out.

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Take some time to hang out with your friends, have a snack, play some games and chill with your friends at Rosedale Library in the meeting room from 3:30pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays.

Come learn to make and decorate your own Pocky! These sweet Japanese biscuit sticks make an excellent treat. You can eat them in the teen center with us or bring some home to share.

Come hang out and craft! Each month we will provide materials and instructions for a new craft activity

New projects every month. Or you can ignore the projects and just watch a movie that we put on the big screen. Or you can ignore both and just talk with your friends. We don't mind.
