Get ready to celebrate with imagination, creativity, and fun at our Summer Reading Kick-Off Party! Join us at the library as we launch a vibrant season of stories, activities, and adventures for everyone.

During Summer Reading, River Ridge Library will take you, children between 4-12 years old, on an exciting creative color adventure.  Your adventure starts June 2nd and ends July 26th. Here is how your adventure will take place.

We are excited to present River Ridge's Summer Reading Kick Off Party!

A new crochet tutorial every month as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?

This event will consist of an hour of one on one VR experience (only one person can register per session). This event is for adults, teens, and children ages 10 years old and up.

This summer break, join us for STEAM activities in the children's department! We're starting out with making galaxy-inspired jars. Supplies are limited, please register to reserve your spot. For ages 5 & up. 

Harahan's Color My World Summer Reading Kick Off 

Come join us at Harahan Library for a COOL STEM Project for all ages - Color My World Sharpie Tie Dye T-Shirt!

Join us for an afternoon arts and crafts program. All children must have an adult 18+ in the library with them at all times. Snacks will be provided when available.

Let your little ones practice basic mixing, measuring, and motor skills while doing learning to make an easy snack and becoming familiar with preparing food!

Love Pokemon? We do too! Join our Pokemon Trainer Training Camp and collect badges while learning about the world of Pokemon. Ages 6+; Parental supervision required. 

The Creative Craft Club is an expansion of the Paper Craft Club. Patrons of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy making a different craft each month using a variety of supplied materials.

This class will teach beginner Spanish to both kids and their parents! At least one parent is required to join but please only register the kiddo.

Come build with us at West Bank Regional Library during our monthly Lego Club meeting! Lego Club gathers every first Thursday of the month at 5:15pm. Ages 4+; Parental supervision required at all times.

Come try your skill, invent, and experiment in our Lego Club targeted for ages 4 to 10. LEGOs will be provided for you so you don’t need to bring LEGOs from home. Lego Club is first come, first serve; while supplies last.

Come garden alongside the Golden Gardeners as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels.
