This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can. 

Join us for a special Summer Reading Challenge event: Wagner's Dinosaur Day! Choose from a variety of prehistoric crafts, browse our dino-themed reads, and become a junior archeologist in a Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt around the library.

This beginner ballet class is open to ages 7-12 (but if your kid falls outside this age range and you still think this is the right class for them, come anyway!). Wear comfortable clothes and socks. 

Join us for Video Game Club! Come hang out and make new friends while playing video games on our Nintendo Switch.

Luckily for young Arlo, his parents (Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand) and his two siblings, the mighty dinosaurs were not wiped out 65 million years ago.

For a select Saturday of the month, River Ridge Library will offer a STEM related scientific experiment or activity! This will help build STEM skills, and make STEM learning fun and interesting for all. Everyone is welcome.

Piece by piece, grow your design! Create colorful pixel art using Perler beads and turn your ideas into something totally unique.

What to make your own dinosaur? Now you can! Join us for an interactive lab on how to make your own dinosaur. Participants will get to roll dice for each feature and see what wacky creations they can make.

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

Come and have fun! Learn to play chess, a game that is played all over the world and that dates back more than a thousand years to Ancient India.  Learn the basic moves and strategies! No knowledge of chess is needed.
