Adult Basic Education Class
Build your reading, writing, and math skills for workforce success and high school equivalency (HiSET/GED) preparation. Open to adults of all skill levels.

Join us for a watercolor painting class,  with local artist Jane Brewster. This four hour class (with a 20 minute lunch break) is open to all levels of experience with painting and watercolor.

Memory Cafés are social gatherings for people living with changes in their memory or thinking, and the people who care about them.

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

LSU Agricultural Center is teaming up with Terrytown Library to offer free nutrition classes and cooking demos! Each class is an hour with extra time for question and answer sessions. Bring the kids! Bring the grandparents!
