Ed Branley, a former high school history teacher and self-described history fanatic, will discuss the Royal Blue Line, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

Android Phones 101 for Seniors is designed for seniors with limited smartphone experience. Participants will learn smartphone terminology and have hands-on experience.

Join us for a gathering of sewists and crafters for charity.  Bring your own supplies and sewing machine. This isn't a class, but a gathering of people who are interested in creating items to donate to various charities. 

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present. 

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

This Internet Basic's Class is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting.

This event is for players, experienced and new, to join adventures across different continents, fighting different villains, saving town’s people and slaying some dragons!

Two food/cocktail demonstrations at the Jefferson Parish Library – one on each bank of the river – will occur during the month of August. 

This Excel Class is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. This class takes what you learned in Part 2 and digs a little deeper.
