This class will teach beginner Spanish to both kids and their parents! At least one parent is required to join but please only register the kiddo.

Vicki Salloum, a local author who has written four novels and numerous short stories, will lead an introduction to fiction writing workshop on Thursday afternoons at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

Mah-jong is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is played by four players.

This PowerPoint Class is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. This class takes what you learned in Part 1 and digs a little deeper.

This will be a beginner level computer class for adults. Do you wish you understood basic computer skills, or always wanted to learn the basics of how to use a personal computer? This class is for you!

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

Dr. Rao leads participants through the principles of mindfulness. Anyone may attend.
