Join us for Bridge Club in the Old Metairie Meeting Room!  Beginners welcome!

Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet in a relaxed but informative environment. We are here to take ballet seriously but not always take ourselves seriously. Get a workout in and learn something new in a comfortable, friendly environment.

Adult Basic Education Class
Build your reading, writing, and math skills for workforce success and high school equivalency (HiSET/GED) preparation. Open to adults of all skill levels.

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

Introduction to sitting and walking Zen meditation. Please bring a cushion to sit on.

Love to play Mahjong but don't have a Mahjong set?  Grab a few friends and drop by the library and play awhile. We have Mahjong sets available for use in the library.

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

Come to Rosedale Library and focus on fitness.  Let's move together!  This program includes dance, chair exercises and stretching.

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

This event will consist of an hour of one on one VR experience (only one person can register per session). This event is for adults, teens, and children ages 10 years old and up.

Open to all levels playing American mah-jong.

All levels are welcome. The first 15 minutes will review chords and strum patterns. Children are welcome with a participating adult.

Come and do some gentle exercises at Rosedale Library.  Go at your own pace and get in shape. 1pm to 2pm.

Adults interested in poetry, music, and writing are invited to share and discuss poems and songs by either their favorite artists or their own original creative work in a group setting.

Tea will be served at 2:00 PM with discussion to follow at 2:30 PM. I hope you will be able to join us. Please bring your own mug!

The Creative Craft Club is an expansion of the Paper Craft Club. Patrons of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy making a different craft each month using a variety of supplied materials.

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can.
