Speak on it; A Poetry Experience welcomes participants to share their voices through original poetry. Through guided prompts, attendees will create original poems that reflect personal expression.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

Join Westwego for a fun, creative Earth Day craft! We'll be painting recycled tin cans that you can take home to use as upcycled planters.

Join our Chess Club!  Learn to play chess, a game that is played all over the world. Learn the basic moves and strategies. No knowledge of chess is needed.  Beginners and seasoned pros are welcome.  We meet one Saturday each month.

When Gary turns up missing, SpongeBob believes that his pet has been stolen. With the help of his pal Patrick, SpongeBob ventures to the Lost City of Atlantic City to rescue his pet.

For a select Saturday of the month, River Ridge Library will offer a STEM related scientific experiment or activity! This will help build STEM skills, and make STEM learning fun and interesting for all. Everyone is welcome.

Hibiscus are renowned for their large, showy flowers and those species are commonly known simply as "hibiscus", or less widely known as rose mallow. Members of the New Orleans Hibiscus Society gather (almost) monthly.
