Romey Petite, New Orleans writer and artist will lead a three-part series titled Graphic Novel Boot Camp at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

The dates are:

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers a general literacy from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, except on holidays.
