As part of our month of Jane Austen, join us at Westwego as we make floral cards that can be used as the perfect invitation to the Bingley ball, a thank-you note for the exquisite boiled potatoes, or even as a notice of elopement with Mr.

Join us for Creative Connections, a welcoming and inclusive program designed for adults with developmental disabilities. Each session features engaging activities that encourage creativity, social interaction, and lifelong learning.

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

Pick up a craft kit and make your own Labubu-themed Shrinky Dink keychain at home! Each kit includes Shrinky Dink sheets, a traceable Labubu outline, keychain hardware, and instructions—you will just need your own markers. No registration needed.

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Get creative and kick off the year with a cozy, hands-on art session. Participants will design their own perpetual spinning calendar using watercolors while enjoying hot cocoa, tea, or coffee.

Arts & Crafts

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in one hour and a half. Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

Join us for an informal meeting of Cricut enthusiasts. Have a question, or a technique you'd like to share? Bring your Cricut and enjoy the company of other crafters.

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

The Creative Craft Club is an expansion of the Paper Craft Club. Patrons of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy making a different craft each month using a variety of supplied materials.

A social group and open time for fiber arts enthusiasts. Come visit and sew, knit, crochet, embroider, or work on any other craft in our Jefferson Room. (EBR Makerspace program)

This month, as part of the library's celebration of Jane Austen, the Westwego crochet club will be crocheting tea bag book marks!

All skill levels are welcome, and all supplies will be provided.

Memory Café is a welcoming place for adults who want to stay social and keep their minds active—including those experiencing memory changes and their care partners.
