Part 2 - Air Drying Clay / Paint your artwork

Boo! Join us for a hauntingly fun time at the Grand Isle Library (143 Ludwin Ln). Enjoy spooky crafts, taste devilishly delicious treats, and enjoy ghoulish entertainment. The Monster Bash takes place October 5th from 1PM to 3PM.

Teens ages 13-18, come join us for a crochet and knitting club! This is a space to work on your projects, meet new friends, and get feedback from fellow crafters. Bring your own supplies, or use our limited in-library materials.

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

Create your own Ghost Garland using recycled book pages. No registration is required, but materials are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early!

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Complete projects and work on skills. Teenagers and Adults, yarn and hooks provided or bring your own

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in 50 minutes. Step by step instructions will be given. Limited art supplies are provided (while supplies last) or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited.

Project: Finish projects and work on skills. Bring your own project to work on or work on one of ours. Teenagers and Adults, yarn and hooks provided or bring your own.

Stop by after school and make something cool! Either learn to crochet and make your own blankets or clothes or learn to create collage art. All supplies will be provided. 

Celebrate Fall by creating your own candy corn bunting. Supplies provided. Though children are welcome, for their safety and the safety of others, they must have an adult participating with them.

Join us at Westwego Library for a fun-filled, spooky Halloween movie & craft event for all ages! We will be screening:

A new class every week as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?

Bring a project you're working on, sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, or any type of creative needlework, and socialize with others with similar interests.

Calling all homeschool families! Each session will include a lesson, an advanced experiment for the kids 7 and up, a storytime and craft for kids 6 and younger, and a separate space for parents to collaborate and share resources.

We'll be making candy corn treat pouches!

"Let the Good Times Roll" at the library! Paintedwitlove's Brittani Landry is a Jazz & Heritage Community Partnership Grant recipient, and she’s agreed to give art classes for kids for Jefferson Parish Library! Ages 9 to 12.
