Join us as we do a Jane Austen-themed teen craft and unleash your creativity!

Join us for Creative Connections, a welcoming and inclusive program designed for adults with developmental disabilities. Each session features engaging activities that encourage creativity, social interaction, and lifelong learning.

Drawing Faces and Figures

This will include separate classes covering:

Basic shapes

Simple anatomy

Proportions

Movement

Facial expression...and more!

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

Memory Café is a welcoming place for adults who want to stay social and keep their minds active—including those experiencing memory changes and their care partners.

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Join us for an informal meeting of Cricut enthusiasts. Have a question, or a technique you'd like to share? Bring your Cricut and enjoy the company of other crafters.

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited. 

Tweens ages 8-11 can use salt to create a textured watercolor painting!

A social group and open time for fiber arts enthusiasts. Come visit and sew, knit, crochet, embroider, or work on any other craft in our Jefferson Room. (EBR Makerspace program)

We strive to share what we know and proudly fail at what we don't. We are not in the pursuit of perfection, but of making true art.

"Let the Good Times Roll" at the library! Paintedwitlove's Brittani Landry is a Jazz & Heritage Community Partnership Grant recipient, and she’s agreed to give art classes for kids for Jefferson Parish Library! Ages 9 to 12.

Join us for Arts & Crafts at the library! This event is for children ages 6-11 only. For more information, please call the Harahan Library at 504-736-8745.  LIMIT  8 Kids. Please register online.

Join us at Westwego to pixel-perfect perler bead art! This month, as part of our celebration of Jane Austen, we'll fuse perler beads to look like books.

All supplies will be provided. Children 11 and under need adult supervision.
