Join us for Creative Connections, a welcoming and inclusive program designed for adults with developmental disabilities. Each session features engaging activities that encourage creativity, social interaction, and lifelong learning.

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

A new crochet tutorial every month as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Get crafty and design your own set of unique cardboard coasters! Use paint, markers, collage, or decoupage to create colorful, stylish, or funky designs to protect your surfaces in style. All supplies provided—just bring your creativity! 

Join us for an afternoon arts and crafts program. All children must have an adult 18+ in the library with them at all times. Snacks will be provided when available.

Join us every Tuesday @ 4 PM for instruction in the Fabric Arts. Our club's main focus will include: Crochet, Sewing, Knitting, Quilting, and Cross Stitch.

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in an hour Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

Join us for an informal meeting of Cricut enthusiasts. Have a question, or a technique you'd like to share? Bring your Cricut and enjoy the company of other crafters.

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present. 

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

Westwego Library invites you to a basic floral arrangement class!

 Grab a bud or buds and join us as we make a simple and beautiful floral arrangement using artificial flowers! 

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited. 

Join us at LOA for STORYTIME! Followed by crafts, competition, and sometimes pizza! Come for a new perspective, for summer reading points, and fun themed crafts to make it through this hot summer. Materials provided.
