Do you like card games? Well come join us in our Trading Card Game Day! Come hangout and play Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and more! Make new friends while you have fun playing your favorite TCG! 

LEGO free play for children ages six and up. LEGOs and blocks will be provided. This event is for children ages 6 to 13 years old.

Pooh Bear celebrated his 100th birthday this year! Join the celebration with party games, music, and a beary special bear! Open to all ages.

Littlefoot (Gabriel Damon), a young plant-eating dinosaur, is orphaned after his mother (Helen Shaver) perishes while protecting him from a vicious carnivore.

Join us for an afternoon of journaling. Using writing prompts we will explore the ideas of personal growth through writing. Journal provided, imagination and honesty needed.  

Hibiscus are renowned for their large, showy flowers and those species are commonly known simply as "hibiscus", or less widely known as rose mallow. Members of the New Orleans Hibiscus Society gather (almost) monthly.

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

Bring your little artists and paleontologists to Westwego for a family-friendly STEAM craft! We'll be making colorful sidewalk chalk in the shapes of our favorite dinosaurs. 

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

Come to Rosedale Library and focus on fitness.  Let's move together!  This program includes dance, chair exercises and stretching.

Come join us at the Jefferson Parish Library - Lakeshore Library for our fun and relaxing Crochet Club! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come and work on their projects together.

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

Welcome back to our Community Homeschool Hour! No reservation required. Classes are geared toward ages 6 and up but our younger friends are welcome to join as well. Class is open until materials run out. 

We are a small group of crafters dedicated to spreading warmth and creativity through handmade creations. Come join us to work on projects, brainstorm, share tips and tricks, and socialize! Open to the public! No registration required.
