Come learn how to line dance! Whether you're a beginner or you've been dancing for awhile, our line dancing classes are for everyone. Wear anything that is comfortable to dance in!

Come and do some gentle exercises at Rosedale Library.  Go at your own pace and get in shape. 1pm to 2pm

This class will cover the basics of short story writing, memoir writing and creative non-fiction writing. It will be taught and mentored by local writer and educator, Maria Baisier. Everyone has a story. What is yours? 

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

New projects every month. Or you can ignore the projects and just watch a movie that we put on the big screen. Or you can ignore both and just talk with your friends. We don't mind. 

This event is for players, experienced and new, to join adventures across different continents, fighting different villains, saving town’s people and slaying some dragons!

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

Come play Dominos at River Ridge Library, third Wednesday of the month. Adults only. 

Join a group of up to six players for a Lancer campaign led by Game Master Patrick Hitchcock.  The campaign will meet one Wednesday evening a month.  There is no cost, and all materials will be provided.

The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for children ages one to three years old.

Memory Café is a welcoming place for adults who want to stay social and keep their minds active—including those experiencing memory changes and their care partners.

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can. 

Playtime at the library! Informal play and social time for children 0-5 years. Toys will be provided.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This Intro to Ballet class is for our youngest learners, ideally 3-5. Must be accompanied by a parent. Ballet slippers will be provided. Just wear comfy clothes and socks and get ready to twirl!

Mah-jong is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is played by four players.
