Join us for Chess Club! We welcome amateurs, novices, and dabblers of chess, who would like to play in a semi-competitive and/or social environment. No registration is required. We have chess sets and clocks available on a first-come basis.

Room setup for National Autism Awareness Month Event that starts at 1:30 pm.

The East Bank Regional Library, located at 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie, will host the Ninth Edition of Saturday Scrabble from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 25. 

The event consists of the following:

Register for an ACT Practice Test at the West Bank Regional Library using tools provided by Princeton Review via Tutor.com. Students will take an ACT practice test in an environment that mimicks the computerized version of the test. 

The purpose of the group is to encourage local writers to create works of fiction - novels, novellas, short stories, flash fiction, etc. Writers submit manuscripts to be critiqued by other group members.

Come try your skill, invent, and experiment in our Lego Club targeted for ages 5 to 10! Legos provided for you so you do not need to bring Legos from home. Younger siblings are welcome. Larger Legos provided for younger siblings.

Visit River Ridge Library and play some of the latest and exciting video games during Video Game Hour.

Introduction to sitting and walking Zen meditation. Please bring a cushion to sit on.

If you are interested in learning the game of Mahjong, but are intimidated by the fast pace of traditional Mahjong clubs, then come join us for a relaxed learning experience.

Want some STEMulating fun? Come join us for fun games and activities that are sure to challenge your child while having fun. Adult supervision is required for children under the age of 12. This event is for children 6 years old and up.

Join us for Arts & Crafts at the library! Looking to make Mom or Grandma's day extra special? Join us to hand-paint a custom teapot planter—the perfect personalized treasure.

Join us for books, songs, and play! This event is for toddlers and preschool children.

Listen to a story read by one of our librarians and stay to do a fun craft together! This event is for children ages 3 to 10 years old. 

This event includes stories for children ages 3 to 7 years old.

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Come and build with us! Meets on Saturdays. Ages 4+; Parental supervision required.

If you love watching movies and talking about them, come to Rosedale’s Movie Club. Movies discussed at this meeting are as follows: TBD.

Come celebrate National Autism Awareness month at the Westbank Regional Library!  Individuals, families, and community members of all ages are welcome to join us for an inclusive and welcoming afternoon celebrating the autism community.
