Looking for a place to hang out with friends and meet new people? The library is transforming into a multi-zone lounge for teens. Play video and board games, get creative with crafts, and vibe with friends or meet new ones.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

Discussion will cover: "Acceptance Speech After Setting the World Record in Goosebumps," by Andrea Gibson (poem)

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present. 

Read & Sing: Early Literacy Fun (Ages 0–3)

Join us for books, songs, and play! Our program starts with stories and songs before our weekly activity. Followed by playtime! 

Read & Sing is a storytime featuring books and songs aimed at babies and toddler ages 0-3. Come read with us at West Bank Regional Library every Wednesday beginning at 11am. Playtime with library toys to follow. 

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

Come and do some gentle exercises at Rosedale Library.  Go at your own pace and get in shape. 1pm to 2pm.

Join your pals Woody and Buzz at Westwego as we watch the Toy Story series! To prepare for the release of Toy Story 5, we're going to watch each of the Toy Story movies on Wednesdays at 2 pm.

New projects every month. Or you can ignore the projects and just watch a movie that we put on the big screen. Or you can ignore both and just talk with your friends. We don't mind.

Join us at Westwego for a fun and creative teen craft where we will paint tin cans and upcycle them into planters. This is a two-part event, but all teens are encouraged to come even if they can only make it for one evening.

Join a group of up to six players for a Lancer campaign led by Game Master Patrick Hitchcock.  The campaign will meet one Wednesday evening a month.  There is no cost, and all materials will be provided.

The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for children ages one to three years old.

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can.
