Come to Teen Tuesdays at Rosedale Library, on Tuesdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm in the meeting room. Relax have a snack, hangout with your friends, play games and make crafts.

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in one hour. Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

Take part in a table read and share your script ideas! Actors, readers, and writers are invited to submit materials. This event is open to the public and performers, with additional written works welcome. For ages 18+

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This Intro to Ballet class is for our youngest learners, ideally 3-5. Must be accompanied by a parent. Ballet slippers will be provided. Just wear comfy clothes and socks and get ready to twirl!

Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet in a relaxed but informative environment. We are here to take ballet seriously but not always take ourselves seriously. Get a workout in and learn something new in a comfortable, friendly environment.
