Craft projects for kids 3+ while supplies last! Visit the Children's Department. Bringing a large group (10 or more children and adults)? Please call (504) 364-3664 to speak with a librarian regarding reservation spots and attendance limits.

Presented by the Visiting Pet Program, beginner or reluctant readers read aloud to animal assisted therapy dogs. Please do not bring your personal pet! Parental supervision required.

Welcome back to our Community Homeschool Hour! No reservation required. Classes are geared toward ages 6 and up but our younger friends are welcome to join as well. Class is open until materials run out. 

The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers.

Stories and activities for babies through preschool age children. 

Today's story is Who loves the little lamb? by Lezlie Evans. Lion and lamb stick puppets craft to follow. 

West Bank Regional Library's Storytime takes place every Tuesday at 11am, with a themed craft to follow. Recommended for children ages 3-5. Each week features a themed selection of books, songs, fingerplays, and more!

This week, we will have a special guest, Prof. Peter Yaukey of University of Holy Cross, in to talk about hurricanes! Followed by a rain cloud in a jar activity. Registration requested, younger siblings welcome!

Join us every Tuesday @ 4 PM for instruction in the Fabric Arts. Our club's main focus will include: Crochet, Sewing, Knitting, Quilting, and Cross Stitch.

Read & Sing is a storytime featuring books and songs aimed at babies and toddler ages 0-3. Come read with us at West Bank Regional Library every Wednesday beginning at 11am. Playtime with library toys to follow. 

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited. We will read an fun and educational Spring themed book.  

Craft: Shamrock Suncatchers 

A very special storytime comes to Live Oak Library. These rabbits are quite literary, literally speaking! Come one, come all and read to one rabbit, two rabbits, three rabbits, fore! Look out, theres a rabbit jumping there.

Join us for Pre-School StoryTime for books, crafts, songs and learning activities.

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can. 

Playtime at the library! Informal play and social time for children 0-5 years. Toys will be provided.

This Intro to Ballet class is for our youngest learners, ideally 3-5. Must be accompanied by a parent. Ballet slippers will be provided. Just wear comfy clothes and socks and get ready to twirl!

This event includes stories and crafts for school aged children (ages 6 to 11 years old.)
