Join us for Lego Club at the library! Take the challenge and make a cool creation to be displayed in the library until the next meeting! Lego Club meets every other Saturday. This event is for children ages 4 years old and up.

Looking to meet other otakus? Stop by the Library for the South Louisiana Anime Club meeting! Watch films, meet other fans, and practice your cosplay!

Attention all wizards, witches, and muggles—grab your broomsticks and get ready for Magical Yule Fest, presented by the Jefferson Parish Library! 

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

Join the Wetland Walkers on Monday evenings at 5:00p.m.

This event will consist of an hour of one on one VR experience (only one person can register per session). This event is for adults, teens, and children ages 10 years old and up.

Complete projects and work on skills. Teenagers and Adults, yarn and hooks provided or bring your own

Get moving with us as we take an outdoor walk in our backyard, followed by an indoor workout to popular exercise videos!

Project: Finish projects and work on skills. Bring your own project to work on or work on one of ours. Teenagers and Adults, yarn and hooks provided or bring your own.

Stop by after school and make something cool! Either learn to crochet and make your own blankets or clothes or learn to create collage art. All supplies will be provided. 

Join us for Teen Game Night, an evening of fun for young adults ages 13-18. This event will include playing your favorite board games and card games! Games and cards will be provided. No registration is required.

Starting Stitches: Quilt Club is a club for quilters of all levels. We discuss new quilting related resources the library has to offer, such as magazines, Library of Things, and new books.

A new class every week as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?

Your local librarians are working on their fitness. Come join! We will be working out together using our collection of Zumba, Pilates, and Dance Cardio DVDs. All ages welcome!

Are you a big fan of anime and manga? We'll watch anime episodes and movies, discuss our favorite series, and much more! 

Go on a holidate with Mario Lopez at Westwego Public Library. For the first three Thursdays in December, we'll count down to Christmas by watching Mario's Christmas romcoms. Adults and teens are welcome.

Bring a project you're working on, sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, or any type of creative needlework, and socialize with others with similar interests.
