Local representatives from the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) help individuals with their taxes. Free of charge and open to the public. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Looking for a fun, chill spot to hang out? Join us at the library for our Teen Café! Watch your favorite anime, play video and board games, get creative with crafts, and vibe with friends or meet new ones.

The World War II Discussion Group, headed by local teacher and historian Brian Altobello, meets the first Thursday of every month. Speakers focus on the events of the 1930s and 1940s. Free and open to the public; registration is not required.

Automotive Enthusiasts rejoice! The Jefferson Parish Library is hosting its first ever Cars & Coffee event! Bring your cool car or motorcycle and hang out with other enthusiasts while enjoying some of our exclusive Library Blend Coffee!

The purpose of the group is to encourage local writers to create works of fiction  - novels, novellas. short stories, flash fiction, etc. Writers submit manuscripts to be critiqued by other group members.
