The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

The Pontchartrain Astronomy Society is a non-profit astronomy club whose members promote an understanding and appreciation of astronomy in our community, sharing their time and telescopes to engage the public with unique astronomy experiences.
