The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will conduct a boating safety class beginning at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 2, at the Wagner Library, .6646 Riverside Drive, Metairie. 

Join us for arts and crafts at the library! First come, first served. 

Introduction to sitting and walking Zen meditation. Please bring a cushion to sit on.

Love to play Mahjong but don't have a Mahjong set?  Grab a few friends and drop by the library and play awhile. We have Mahjong sets available for use in the library.

Join us for a painting workshop for all ages and skill levels. All supplies provided. This month's activity will be acrylic   painting of a creative painting on cardstock, either as a card or framed design.

This even includes stories and crafts for school aged children (ages 6 to 11 years old).

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Take the challenge and make a cool creation to be displayed in the library until the next meeting! Lego Club meets every other Saturday. This event is for children ages 4 years old and up. 

Join us for books, songs, and play! This event is for toddlers and preschool children.

Listen to a story read by one of our librarians and stay to do a fun craft together! This event is for children ages 3 to 10 years old. 

This event includes stories for children ages 3 to 7 years old.

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Come and build with us! Meets on Saturdays. Ages 4+; Parental supervision required.

Join us for Lego Club at Rosedale library! Take the challenge and make a cool creation to be displayed in the library until the next Lego Club. 

Do you like card games? Well, come join us in our Trading Card Game Day! Come hang out and play Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and more! Make new friends while you have fun playing your favorite TCG! 

Come explore your creative side with various art activities.  All supplies will be provided. 

LEGO free play for children ages six and up. LEGOs and blocks will be provided. This event is for children ages 6 to 13 years old.

Join us for engaging programming that is designed for all ages and abilities. Parental supervision required. Please call the Children’s Desk at (504) 364-3664 ahead for the latest information.

Join us @2pm for a screening of Star Wars Return Of The Jedi. We will project the movie onto the wall for a big theater experience. We will also serve popcorn until we run out.

Are you ready, kids!? If nautical nonsense be something you wish, join us at Westwego Library to watch the original SpongeBob SquarePants movie. During the movie, we'll celebrate our favorite fry cook with crafts and snacks.
