Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

Welcome back to our Community Homeschool Hour! No reservation required. Classes are geared toward ages 6 and up but our younger friends are welcome to join as well. Class is open until materials run out. 

We are a small group of crafters dedicated to spreading warmth and creativity through handmade creations. Come join us to work on projects, brainstorm, share tips and tricks, and socialize! Open to the public! No registration required.

It's movie time at the library! Join us as we show movies every Monday in June and July involving this year's Summer Reading Theme: Dig, Discover, Grow!

A new crochet tutorial every month as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an English as a Second Language class.

Visit River Ridge Library and play some of the latest and exciting video games during Video Game Hour.

Put on your walking shoes and join us at Westwego Park (Avenue D, Westwego, LA 70094) to get those steps in. When weather permits, we'll meet every other Tuesday for a leisurely stroll and yap session. Bring your own water!

The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers.

Stories and activities for children ages infant to 5 years old. 

Local author and artist Madi Cat Hannan joins us for a reading of her book "Scrim on the Run!" Scrim the dog got loose in the Big Easy, and New Orleans may never be the same.
