The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

Come find out about the library’s amazing digital offerings and resources. You can try courses such as 3D design, business writing, and more through LinkedIn Learning or watch your favorite movies and TV shows on Hoopla and more.

Register for this class to receive one-on-one time with a trainer who can help you with your basic computer skills practice or questions.

Mariarenee Contreras, a lawyer with offices in Metairie, will meet with patrons from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

This event is for players, experienced and new, to join adventures across different continents, fighting different villains, saving town’s people and slaying some dragons!

Join host, Samantha Hallenus, to share your script ideas and participate in a table read of her script, Dead or Alive.  We will meet at the table in the A/V Dept., 2nd floor, right outside of the Teen Dept.
