The purpose of the group is to encourage local writers to create works of fiction  - novels, novellas. short stories, flash fiction, etc. Writers submit manuscripts to be critiqued by other group members.

Four local horticulture and gardening experts will discuss ways to improve the environment by using one’s backyard beginning at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie. 

This class covers setting up an email account (using Gmail) and the basics of composing, sending and receiving emails. We also discuss uploading and sending an attachment.

The Read and Sing Story Time includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers.

Playtime at the library! Informal play and social time for children 0-5 years. Toys will be provided.

 Northstar Digital Learning is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. Learners will open and close a workbook. Identify parts of Excel Screen: ribbon, formula bar, active cell, name box.
