Week Calendar

Come garden alongside the Golden Gardeners as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

Calling all homeschool families! Each session will include a lesson, an advanced experiment for the kids 7 and up, a storytime and craft for kids 6 and younger, and a separate space for parents to collaborate and share resources.

Show your mother how much you love her by creating a handmade bouquet of beautiful paper flowers made from coffee filters! 

All supplies will be provided.

This four-week course is taught by the LSU Agricultural Center, providing a free food and nutrition education program. 

Week 1: Fruits, Vegetables, And Choosing your Dairy.

Week 2: Whole Grains and Varying Your Protein Sources

This volume includes the beloved short film "Mickey and the Beanstalk" along with other timeless classics. It is a must-have for any Disney fan and is perfect for family movie nights.

Join us Mondays and Wednesdays after school for a half hour of crafts, games, and activities designed to help support reading, math, and other skills for kids of all ages. Programs will rotate weekly.

Join us every Tuesday @ 4 PM for instruction in the Fabric Arts. Our club's main focus will include: Crochet, Sewing, Knitting, Quilting, and Cross Stitch.
