Memory Café is a welcoming place for adults who want to stay social and keep their minds active—including those experiencing memory changes and their care partners.

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can. 

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels.

Celebrate the life of novelist Jane Austen by joining us at Old Metairie Library for a two-hour calligraphy class taught by professional calligrapher Debbie Fleming. This class is appropriate for teens and adults. All supplies will be provided.

Come hang out and craft! This month we will be crocheting; no previous crochet knowledge needed! Each month we will provide materials and instructions for a new craft activity.

Join us every Tuesday @ 4 PM for instruction in the Fabric Arts. Our club's main focus will include: Crochet, Sewing, Knitting, Quilting, and Cross Stitch.
