irie. This event is free of charge and open to the public. Scaffidi’s b
ook asks “Think about your round of life and reflect on your personal sc
orecard. Think about your own story, your family, your friends. Think abou
t each hole you played in the past and will play down the road. I know I h
ave a great story, but I also know that you have one too.”He says the re
al eye-opener happens when people reflect back on their lives and realize
just how fast time goes by.From his website: “When you realize that life
expectancy in the United States is approximately 80 years, then every hol
e on the front nine is four years of your life, and on the back nine each
hole is five years. When you eventually putt out on the 18th hole, if you&
#039;re fortunate to finish your round, you are now 81 years old and headi
ng to the clubhouse (19th Hole) to meet friends, and enjoy a beverage of y
our choice.”The book provides a template that describes his own 18 holes
and can be used as a guide for readers.Steve Scaffidi is an award-winning
