Purpose of Meeting
Louisiana organizations, such as Abortion in America, NOW BR, the Nancy Davis Foundation, and Lift Louisiana, are planning a statewide tour of listening sessions and storyteller workshops for community members in 13 different cities/parishes. The purpose of the tour is to engage community members in meaningful dialogue and document their experiences within health systems, clinics, and hospitals following the overturning of Roe v. Wade. This includes dedicating spaces for individuals to share their personal stories through guided conversations developed in collaboration with our partners. Also, we will offer a storyteller workshop designed to equip participants with the tools, skills, and resources needed to share their experiences effectively with trusted individuals, including family members, friends, and loved ones.
