Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

Take part in a table read and share your script ideas! Actors, readers, and writers are invited to submit materials. This event is open to the public and performers, with additional written works welcome. For ages 18+

Three local authors – Chip LoCoco, Vicki Salloum and Elisa Speranza – will discuss their new books at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.
