Tree Planting Introduction presentation by LSU Ag Center Horticulturist Chris Dunaway.

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

This Basic's Training is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. Learners will practice how to use a mouse, locating and opening a program, as well as log off and shut off a computer properly.

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited. During this time, we will create a kaleidoscope! We will also read a fun book that teaches the science of light. 

Blow off steam at the library with Ratchet and Clank for PlayStation 5! First-come, first-served. 

Join us at LOA for STORYTIME! Followed by crafts, competition, and sometimes pizza! Come for a new perspective, take a break from the heat, and fashion fun themed crafts to make it through summer. Materials provided. 

Come to the library after school to play some Nintendo Switch games with your friends. Snacks are available for the price of checking out a book!

Storytime

This event includes stories for children ages 3 to 9 years old. This event is held in the Children's area.

Tweens ages 8-11 can make a paper pumpkin in the style of artist Yayoi Kusama! Registration is requested.

This event is for players, experienced and new, to join adventures across different continents, fighting different villains, saving town’s people and slaying some dragons!

Come play Dominos at River Ridge Library, third Wednesday of the month. Adults only.

This Microsoft Word Class is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. Learners will open a new document. Identify the parts of the Word window, including the Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar.

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can. 

Playtime at the library! Informal play and social time for children 0-5 years. Toys will be provided.
