This Basic's Training is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting.

FamilySearch.Org is the largest free genealogy database and is focused on volunteers and contributions. It bases the creation of a family tree on working together to add to and create a worldwide family tree.

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited. We will read an exciting book on butterflies and make a butterfly craft.

 Craft: Butterfly 

Come hang out and craft! Each month we will provide materials and instructions for a new craft activity. 

New projects every month. Or you can ignore the projects and just watch a movie that we put on the big screen. Or you can ignore both and just talk with your friends. We don't mind. 

Join us at Live Oak Library for STORYTIME! Followed by crafts, competition, and sometimes pizza! Come for a new perspective, take a break from the heat, and create fashion fun themed crafts every week, all year long. Materials provided. 

Join a Barataria Preserve park ranger at the Belle Terre Library for a reading of Bones by Steve Jenkins, an interactive presentation featuring animal skulls and furs, and a skeleton construction paper craft.

Free tax help at the West Bank Regional Library.  The IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program in partnership with Community Housing Education Center offers free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals.

Celebrate Spring with tissue paper and watercolors! For ages 8-12. Registration requested. 

This event is for players, experienced and new, to join adventures across different continents, fighting different villains, saving town’s people and slaying some dragons!

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

Join us at Westwego to hone your artistic skills by painting a still life scene with water colors. 

All art supplies will be provided, but these supplies are limited.

Come play Hong Kong Mahjong at River Ridge Library! Free and open to the public. Beginners are welcome.

This Spanish classes is geared toward younger learners but open to all ages. There will be portions of each lesson for different age ranges to accommodate as many levels of learners as we can. 

Playtime at the library! Informal play and social time for children 0-5 years. Toys will be provided.
