David Laville, of the New Orleans Ghost Hunters will discuss the haunted history of New Orleans at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the River Ridge Library, 8825 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge.

This event is free of charge and is open to the public. Registration is not required. 

Laville’s lecture will focus on the city’s status as one of the most haunted cities in America, and why so many spirits seem attracted to the local environment, including the following;

LaVille says he began to experience paranormal activity at a young age which eventually led to his cofounding of the New Orleans Ghost Hunters. With dozens of residential and numerous historical site investigations on his resume he’s also hosted two radio shows, one local and another national on internet radio where the haunted history and locations of New Orleans are often discussed. He and the New Orleans Ghost Hunters have appeared on television shows, have been written about in local papers and are often invited to give panels at sci-fi conventions. He is a licensed New Orleans tour guide specializing in haunted tours of the French Quarter.
