Katie Mitchell, founder and president of CCC Firm and Business Source II, will lead a grant writing seminar from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 25, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

This event is free of charge and open to the public. Registration is not required.

She is a financial executive with excellence in reducing cost, stimulating bottom-line growth, and reducing costs from a mid-size to a multi-million-dollar organization. She possesses a blend of finance and accounting leadership backed by operations, auditing, human resources, business development and technological expertise.

She has a proven record leading financial restructurings and reorganizations in challenging settings, core competencies include but is not limited to: accounting/bookkeeping/system and account reconciling/seeking/obtaining business revenue through grants, contracts and private funding.
