Event Details

Join us for a delightful evening as we celebrate the enduring legacy of Jane Austen by exploring the elegant art of paper quilling. Did you know that quilling, the art of rolling and shaping the strips into intricate designs, was popular during the Austen's time? Ladies would often create beautiful paper filigree, making this a perfect craft to connect with the Regency period.

In this introductory workshop, you'll learn the fundamental techniques of paper quilling, from basic rolls and coils to more complex shapes. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or looking to try something new, this workshop offers a relaxing and creative way to honor Jane Austen's birthday month. Come discover the charm of paper quilling and take home your own beautiful creation!
