Event Details

Hibiscus are renowned for their large, showy flowers and those species are commonly known simply as "hibiscus", or less widely known as rose mallow. Members of the New Orleans Hibiscus Society gather (almost) monthly. Speakers discuss matters such as hybridization, composting, pest control, native plants, mulching, fertilization, etc. Free of charge and open to the public. New faces are always welcome.
